Très bon restaurant. Nous avons étaient très bien accueilli et servie . Le repas était juste parfait . Il faut réserver avant de venir , mais cela en vaut la peine .

My new favorite restaurant in the Lot ! From the house-cured charcuterie and foie gras to amazing beef and lamb to fantastic sides (the frites are worth the drive), every bite was outstanding. The service was ideal, as were the wine choices. We will definitely be back as often as we can!

Great food, although a limited selection, well presented, tasty and a fantastic location. Well worth finding if nearby though suspect a need to book. Wine selection wide and a varied selection of unusual local wines that might be better shown by location on a map as well as listed by name for the unitiated. Did find a lack of legumes or salad on the table disappointing given the wide variety of fresh produce available in the region. Not cheap but the Aubrac fillet was superb. Specialise in wood-fired meals.

Even as a woman with extremely high standards, the Table de Charrou succeeded in completely blowing me away today. And my husband, who is a chef! From the moment we stepped out of the car and smelt that gorgeous wood fire, we were impressed. The setting is sublime - hands down the best in the area. The attention to detail here was unlike any other restaurant I've been to around here that offers a 'menu of the day' at a similar price (a mere 16.90). In my opinion, you can see that everything in the restaurant, from the lovely shaded terrace, to the beautiful high quality interior has been meticulously designed and chosen with care and love. This place is truly unique, not just in setting but the food too. Everything seemed to be made with high quality ingredients by a chef who clearly knows what he's doing, giving it a taste that is unparalleled. As the name states, this restaurant is a 'table de...', meaning you will not find fancy plating or elaborate garnishes here but the most important thing is that you really do not need it because the delicious food speaks volumes for itself. It is unpretentious and yet incredibly delicious. The choice of wines were great (we had a fantastic Gaillac), the sangria I had as an apéritif was super refreshing and homemade, and my husband had an artisan pastis which was a lovely change from the usual Ricard. I highly recommend this beautiful place. I've paid much more money elsewhere for a meal that doesn't even come close to what they are offering at the table de charrou. I'm excited to come back on a different day because i know they offer other options - at the weekend, for example, when i believe they cook lamb on their gorgeous ancient wood fire. I will be bringing friends and family here without a doubt. I was even more pleasantly surprised to discover that this exquisite place was created by a couple in their early twenties!!! What an incredible achievement. May they have many years of success ahead of them. Merci beaucoup Lucie et Charles !

The best food weve eaten in this area! We visited this lovely restaurant today and were really pleasantly surprised by the beautiful surroundings, fantastic food and great personal service. It has an up to date feeling about it serving quality, well cooked meat. I would highly recommend this place for a treat meal out. I would recommend eating outside for the best ambience.

Beautiful new restaurant with a lovely terrace in a very peaceful setting. Charles and Lucie are very friendly, professional and serve delicious homemade food using locally sourced produce. Everything about our meal was quality :-)
